Carrie Symonds wore an orange vintage number as she went for a walk with Prime Minister Boris Johnson. It is the first time the couple have been seen together since the wedding.
Carrie joined her husband ahead of the Prime Minister’s meeting with US President Joe Biden today.
She opted for a classic look wearing a three quarter length sleeved coat dress as the couple walked down Carbis Bay in Cornwall.
The collarless dress had buttons down the front and a thick mustard belt which pulled her in at the waist.
The gown cut off just above the ankle and is from designer Alice Early.
For her wedding, which took place last month, Carrie decided to rent her dress and it reportedly cost just £45.
The look she wore today may also have been a rented number and is available from MyWardrobeHQ, where she got her wedding dress.
Shoppers can rent the mustard dress for just £8.
To buy it outright would cost £275 making renting a great thrifty option.
The Prime Minister’s wife has shown her interest in shopping in a more sustainable way by opting for rented pieces.
Carrie and Boris looked relaxed as they walked along the sandy beach today.
Carrie held a black and white face covering in her hand.
She wore her long blonde hair down and swept over to one side.
She opted for barely there make-up, wearing a nude lipstick and coat of mascara.
The Prime Minister was seen wearing a black suit over a blue shirt.
He had on a long grey tie and was seen walking with his hands in his pocket.
He will host political leaders over the next few days as part of the G7 summit.
