  • Garnier BB Cream, £9.99 for 50ml from – buy now

Skin-perfecting cream with SPF15 that promises to illuminate, hydrate and protect the skin.

This left me looking shiny, but it does give an even finish.

Would recommend for normal skin types, but it is only available in light or medium, which is not enough!

  • Erborian BB Cream, £16 for 15ml from – buy now

Contains ginseng, licorice and ginger and aims to help disguise pigmentation and leave skin radiant.

A lightweight cream with a runny texture so I wasn’t expecting much – but I was wrong.

It masked dark circles and blemishes and my skin was glowing.

My favourite. In four shades.

  • Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, £31 for 50ml from – buy now

This offers SPF30, anti-ageing properties and a natural-looking base.

It gives a sheer coverage, so won’t cover noticeable blemishes, but the oil-free formula does even out the skin to leave a dewy (not shiny) finish.

Available in 12 shades.
