I’m a foodie, I made giant pigs in blankets with a twist in my Air Fryer – they’re simple but delicious | The Sun

A FOODIE has shared their recipe for Christmas pigs in blankets – but theirs are giant and come with an added twist.

TikTok user Planet Food, who can be found on the social media platform at @thisisplanetfood, revealed they give the popular festive food a further upgrade.

Planet Food said they stuff their sausages with cranberry sauce and brie, before cooking them in the Air Fryer.

Sharing their step-by-step tutorial, Planet Food showed the quick and easy process.

They began by slicing eights sausages lengthways and pressing down lightly to create a small pocket in each.

Once the pocket has been made spread one teaspoon of cranberry sauce into each one, or as much as you desire.

Next, slice up generous helpings of brie intro strips and “place a strip into the sausage.”

The final part is to “wrap each sausage with 1-2 rashers of streaky bacon tightly.”

Once each sausage is prepared, simply pop into the Air Fryer.

The chosen temperature is 180 degrees and they should be cooked for 10-12 minutes.
