Meghan and Harry latest news – Thomas Markle to make documentary around Duchess as Archewell brand 'faces failure'

HARRY has been left heartbroken by the situation with his family after moving to the US, says pal Tom Bradby.

Bradby was a guest at Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding and interviewed them shortly before they quit royal life last year.

He told Love Your Weekend With Alan Titchmarsh, shown on ITV tomorrow: “I think they are content, the things they are doing they are quite excited by.

"I think Harry is heartbroken. You don’t necessarily need to have the knowledge to know that, but I think it is true."

What's more, The Sun has exclusively revealed that Thomas Markle is making a new documentary film about his life and daughter Meghan.

He said: “It begins with my life, my family, my love of theatre and television and how I got there.

“Then my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went off to college, and when her career began.

"We had a good life together, up through her first marriage and her move to Canada. Then a new story begins! It’s kind of like ‘What happened to my baby girl’."

MEGHAN'S BEST PAL SHARES CRYPTIC POST ABOUT 'TENSION' AND 'MUTUAL CONTENTION'

Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney has shared a cryptic post about "tension" and "mutual contention" on her Instagram stories.

The Canadian fashion stylist, 40, whose birthday is March 14, posted the horoscope message for her "fellow Pisces".

It reads: "There has been more than enough tension of late.

"A thought is knocking about in your head, that a particular point of mutual contention with someone will never be resolved.

"This is an incorrect assumption. Take control of your thoughts.

"The New Moon in Capricorn indicates that you'll attain a great deal of what you hope to get. And it'll happen faster than you think.

"Chances are most of what you are insisting on will be agreed to. You have the dedication and integrity to win the day."

Meghan's "gift" to the Royal family was never "properly appreciated", an expert has claimed.

Sean Smith, author of the book Meghan Misunderstood, said the Duchess of Sussex brought a “great deal of charisma” to the Firm.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Sean said Meghan’s “different life experience” brought something that is “now missing” from the Royals.

He added: "Meghan would be great in politics, I think the speeches she give are very inspirational and I think she is a tremendous public speaker.

"She is very very articulate too and it is a gift that she brought to the Royal Family, a gift that was not properly appreciated."

Sources say the royals “waited in line” until the vaccine — believed to be the Oxford/AstraZeneca — was available to medical services in the region.

The Duke of Cambridge, 38, held a video call with some of the doctors, nurses and volunteers helping in Britain’s biggest ever vaccination programme.

"It is really important that everyone gets the vaccine when they are told to.”

MEGHAN & HARRY HAVE 'MORE DRAMA THAN RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE'

Meghan and Harry have "more drama than the season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race," a writer has claimed.

In a scathing piece for the Daily Mail, Sarah Vine analysed Tom Bradbury's recent comments on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Tom is an ITN news anchor and a friend of the couple, having been invited to their May 2018 wedding.

This week, he said Harry was left heartbroken after Megxit and is distraught over the "painful" royal rift, in an interview with Alan Titchmarsh.

Touching on the comments, Sarah said Harry should be delighted to have left Britain behind.

She added: "In theory, then, all good. Except, of course, it’s not. This is Harry and Meghan, remember. More drama than the season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race."

Thomas Markle is making a documentary film about his life — and daughter Meghan.

Award-winning lighting director Thomas is working with a cinematographer and hopes to have it completed later this year.

Thomas, 76, took part in a documentary last year, which aired on Channel 5, but hopes this will be a more “complete” picture.

He said: “It begins with my life, my family, my love of theatre and television and how I got there.

“Then my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went off to college, and when her career began.

“We had a good life together, up through her first marriage and her move to Canada. Then a new story begins! It’s kind of like ‘What happened to my baby girl’.”

The dad of three, from Rosarito, Mexico, will use previously unseen home movie footage of his daughter.

The source said: "There’s a pile of story and soft activity books, and a storage area for all of Archie’s toys and puzzles.

HARRY AND MEGHAN'S BRAND 'FACING FAILURE', DIANA'S EX-CHIEF OF STAFF CLAIMS

Princess Diana's former Chief of Staff Patrick Jephson has claimed Harry and Meghan's non-profit organisation Archewell has "an evolving brand issue".

He told the Express: "One could argue that, at its best, membership of the Royal Family gives you access to the most extraordinary and powerful brand in the world.

"To voluntarily divest yourselves of all those advantages in pursuit of something else is very daring – and we don’t even know what that something else is.

"But if it departs very much from that great tradition of personal sacrifice and public service that defines the monarchy brand then I don’t believe it will succeed."

Flash forward 12 months, the couple have forged a new life for themselves in California with their son Archie – having signed two lucrative contracts with Spotify and Netflix.

And while Megxit might have sent shockwaves through the monarchy, an insider has claimed it was the right decision for Meghan and Harry.

KATE MIDDLETON'S CHEEKY PRESENT TO PRINCE HARRY REVEALED

Kate Middleton and Prince William have been together for almost 20 YEARS now – so it's safe to say that Prince Harry is almost like a little brother to her now.

Back in 2011, the Duchess was spending her first Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family when she decided to get Harry a VERY cheeky present.

Poking fun at his single status, Grazia reported: "Kate and William have bought him a Grow Your Own Girlfriend kit, along with a more stylish gift – Gucci loafers because ‘all his shoes have holes in them'.

As for The Queen, Kate reportedly played it safe by buying Her Majesty a framed photo of her and her corgis.

HARRY AND WILLIAM 'WILL NEVER BE AS CLOSE', EXPERT CLAIMS

When Prince Harry announced that he was quitting the Royal Family in January 2020, his older brother Prince William was reportedly ‘incandescent with rage’.

Last year, The Sun exclusively revealed that the brothers had exchanged presents ahead of Christmas and plan to speak to each other via video calls during the festive period.

However, royal expert Katie Nicholl claims Harry and William are not as friendly as they were before Megxit.

Appearing on True Royalty TV's Royal Beat, she said: "I don't think they ever will be close in the same way that they were before.

"But I do think there have been nine months since Megxit and relations are better between them."

MONTHS AFTER MEGXIT WERE ‘DISMAL’ FOR MEGHAN AND HARRY

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent shockwaves through the Royal Family when they stepped down as senior royals in January 2020.

And according to royal expert Andrew Morton, the months that followed the announcement were very difficult for the couple.

Describing it as a “pretty dismal” time, he said: “You could see the trauma etched on their faces. They were barely on speaking terms with William and Charles.

“If Harry had a real regret, it was how he handled the announcement of stepping back. He pushed the Queen and his father into a corner and it made the whole thing far more dramatic.”

Five years ago, the Duchess of Sussex – who was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits – vowed to set her "standards high" for the New Year on her lifestyle blog The Tig.

Meghan wrote: "For this new year, the only thing I aim to do is to approach life playfully.

"To laugh and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher."

In July that year, Meghan was set up with Prince Harry by a mutual friend.

The biography Finding Freedom claims the couple enjoyed their first date at Soho House's Dean Street Townhouse – where they reportedly spoke about making “change for good” while sitting on plush “velvet chairs”.

PIERS MORGAN LABELS HARRY AND MEGHAN 'GINGE AND CRINGE' IN TWITTER RANT

The Good Morning Britain host slammed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's call for "compassion" as they launched their new website for Archewell.

Piers took to Twitter to brand the pair "Ginge and Cringe" and accused them of "airbrushing" their dads, Prince Charles and Thomas Markle out of the picture.

The poem, titled A Letter for 2021, begins: "I am my mother’s son. And I am our son’s mother. Together we bring you Archewell," before going on to describe how they witnessed "the best of humanity" from their "mothers and strangers alike".

But taking to Twitter, Piers Morgan said: "Sadly, Ginge & Cringe’s ‘compassion’ and ‘humanity’ doesn’t extend to either of their fathers, both of whom have been airbrushed out of this nauseating bilge."

He also accompanied the scathing tweet with three sick-face emojis.

Introducing their website, the couple shared childhood pictures of themselves with their mothers – alongside a short letter to 2021 in which the Duke described himself as "my mother's son".

Appearing on True Royalty TV's Royal Beat, royal expert Katie Nicholl said: "I think William will be concerned with that, Harry trying to take ownership of the Diana Legacy will be a problem.

"But also Harry doing mental health, Harry doing conservation, these are the issues that William and Kate want to do – that’s where I predict tensions. Heads Together was also Kate’s Idea."

MEGHAN MARKLE HAS 'USED THE ROYAL FAMILY', EXPERT SENSATIONALLY CLAIMS

Since season four of The Crown dropped on Netflix, royal commentators have criticised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's deal with the streaming giant – reportedly worth £75m.

Speaking on True Royalty TV, author Angela Levin claimed it was the "biggest exploitation of the Royal Family in our lifetime" and questioned whether the controversial deal was in the works before their wedding in 2018.

She said: "I don't think this could have been done very quickly, that they've come out of the Royal Family and they've got all the PRs set up, they've got their agents set up, they negotiate with Netflix and wham-bam here's your $150m for your future.

"I think was plotted right from the beginning, from before the wedding even. We know that they set up their website before the wedding.

"I think Meghan has been brilliant in her strategy but very unkind as a human being. She's used the Royal Family and maybe even used marrying Harry to be the big step she needed to make to go from being a C-Lister on Suits to one of the most famous women in the world."

MEGHAN AND HARRY'S WORK COULD RESULT IN 'CATASTROPHE' FOR ROYAL FAMILY

Since moving to the US, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify that are reportedly worth over £142m.

Speaking on True Royalty’s The Royal Beat, author Duncan Larcombe claimed the couple's upcoming work could have disastrous effects on the Royal Family.

He said: "What Harry and Meghan have done over the past 12 months is sow seeds which will spell potential catastrophe to the royal family.

“When 50 million people are watching Harry’s chat about organic yoghurt or whatever it is that he wants to promote, and 5,000 people are watching his brother – Prince William, the future king – do a royal engagement, opening a supermarket in Hemel Hempstead or whatever, that is when it becomes a problem."

'FURIOUS' WILLIAM 'REFUSED' TO HAVE LUNCH WITH HARRY BEFORE SANDRINGHAM SUMMIT

Back in January 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dropped the bombshell that they were quitting the Royal Family.

In the days that followed, the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry held crisis talks at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk to negotiate the terms of Megixt.

And now royal expert Robert Lacey has claimed that Prince William was so "furious" with his brother, he refused to have lunch with the family beforehand.

Speaking to ELLE, the expert said: "One prince said no, I’m not coming to that, I’m not sitting with my brother, and the prince who said that was William. Most people were shocked.

"This is not Royal gossip; we saw William turning up late just in time for the 2 o’clock meeting, so there’s no doubt at all that was his position then. Friends suggest he was so furious with Harry that he couldn’t trust himself to sit at same table. This is the depth to which the anger has gone."

MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY ARE 'BIGGEST SELL-OUTS IN ROYAL HISTORY', EXPERT SENSATIONALLY CLAIMS

Appearing on True Royalty’s The Royal Beat, author Duncan Larcombe said: "A year ago Harry and Meghan were saying they want privacy and to bring their child up in peace – codswallop!

"We now know what it is. The evidence is there.

"It was the biggest royal sellout in the history of the family."

After stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to their £14m "forever" mansion in Montecito, California and signed deals with Spotify and Netflix rumoured to be worth over £142m.

PRINCE WILLIAM 'BOTHERED' BY HARRY AND MEGHAN'S PRIVACY DEMANDS AROUND ARCHIE'S BIRTH

Speaking to Channel 5, royal expert Ingrid Seward claimed the Duke of Cambridge was "bothered" by how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went about announcing Archie's birth.

She said: "It wasn't done in a very royal way, or the way we'd come to expect. But then Harry's excuse was, 'well I'm a private person'.

"But you cannot be royal and be the sixth line to the throne and be a private person. I would think it might bother William a little bit."

While Kate Middleton and Prince William introduced each of their three children to the world on the steps of the Lindo Wing in London, Meghan and Harry announced that she had gone into labour after Archie had been born.

PRINCE HARRY 'ACCEPTS BEING SECOND TO MEGHAN'

Writing for The Telegraph, royal author Angela Levin sensationally claimed that Prince Harry is content being "second" to his wife Meghan Markle.

Questioning whether the Duke and Duchess are an "equal" partnership, she wrote: "He would not be the first man to be besotted with a beautiful woman with a different agenda that he then meekly adopts as his own.

"While he balked at being 'the spare' to Prince William, he seems to accept being second to Meghan."

HARRY AND MEGHAN 'QUIT SOCIAL MEDIA TO SAFEGUARD THEIR CONTENT' IN 'FINANCIALLY-MOTIVATED' MOVE, EXPERT CLAIMS

When they quit the Royal Family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also behind their Sussex Royal Instagram account which had amassed over 10.4m followers.

But while the couple have since spoken out about the impacts on social media on mental health, royal expert Russell Myers claims Meghan and Harry's decision NOT to promote their new Archewell projects on Instagram and Facebook is "financially-motivated" too.

Appearing on Lorraine, he said: "This big new charity launch will not have a social media presence and they aren't going to have a personal one.

"Now I think this is probably to do with their big deals with Netflix and Spotify. They have signed big money deals with those corporate giants and obviously they want to safeguard their content. They don't want to give it away for free.

"But they have had a record breaking Instagram page, and they want to produce video and audio content – so I imagine its to do with the money.

'They have spoken about the ills of social media and how they feel it is toxic, but reading between the lines, I think we will see a lot of them on Netflix and Spotify."
