Nike Prepares the Air Max 95 for the Tennis Court

Nike has returned to its classic Air Max 95 silhouette, reworking the sneaker for the tennis court. To create a court-ready sneaker, Nike has mixed the Air Max 95 with NikeCourt Vapor X, mixing the athletic and performance elements of that silhouette with design cues taken from the 95.

The NikeCourt Vapor X’s influence can be seen through the sole unit and lower foot support, while a durable traction has been added on the outsole for optimal grip. Additionally, the sneaker features a Zoom Air unit in the heel and soft foam cushions across the design. These technical functions are mixed with the Air Max 95’s classic design, with the wave pattern appearing across the upper.

The NikeCourt Zoom Vapor X Air Max 95 is due to release in two colorways. The first pays tribute to a staple Air Max 95 colorway, featuring hits of “Neutral Gray,” “Medium Gray” and “Solar Red,” while the second colorway sees the sneaker stripped back to an all-white construction. Both colorways are available now from the Nike web store.

In other footwear news, Nike also recently presented the Air Max 97 Golf “Wing It” in navy.
