Parents scramble to their nearest Sainsbury's desperate to nab cut-price paddling pools in time for the long weekend | The Sun

SUN-LOVING Brits will be thrilled to learn that temperatures across the UK are set to soar above average very soon as a mini heatwave hits the country.

And with the bank holiday weekend almost here, it’s no surprise that parents are preparing for the warm weather and sunny days in the garden.

But now, parents are scrambling to get to their nearest Sainsbury’s store, in a desperate bid to nab cut-price paddling pools.

One bargain hunter was left open-mouthed when shopping in her local Sainsbury’s, when she noticed that the paddling pools had been massively cut-price.

Savvy mum Chantelle Francesca Gabriel proudly took to Facebook to show off the cheap finds, leaving many stunned.

Posting in the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper alerted other parents to the reduced buys.

As she shared a picture of the cheap paddling pools, she simply said: “Go check your local Sainsbury’s.”

Just in time for the bank holiday weekend, Sainsbury’s have reduced the Chad Valley outdoor paddling pools – and they’re now super cheap.

There’s a dinosaur shaded paddling pool, which was originally £18, but is now only £4.50.

As well as this, there’s also a unicorn shaded paddling pool, which again was originally marked at £18, but is now priced at just £4.50.
