You can book a FREE virtual trip to see Santa and his reindeer for the kids this Christmas
THERE'S no denying that this Christmas is going to look a little different for all of us this year.
But that doesn't mean your little ones will have to skip their annual trip to Santa's grotto.
During the first three weekends of December, Virgin Media is giving families the chance to pay a FREE virtual visit to Santa’s grotto – including a cute cameo from Rudolph of course.
Parents can register for one of the limited slots from tomorrow to give their kids the chance to chat to Father Christmas via a Scope video call.
What's more, mums and dads can provide Santa with their child’s Christmas wish list in advance – along with any fun facts about their kids that Father Christmas would like to know.
But you'll have to be quick – as registrations are only open for three days and Virgin Media is reserving a number of slots for existing customers.
How it works:
- Families can request a video call from Santa via an online form – with slots available for disabled families and those who are shielding as well as Virgin Media customers
- The online form will go live on 20 November, closing on 23 November at 11:59pm
- Families will be chosen at random and will then be contacted by Virgin Media if they are successful in securing a 15-minute slot at Santa’s virtual grotto
- Video calls to take place on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20 December
And if you manage to bag a slot, parents can share a copy of their kid’s letter to Santa before their virtual trip to the grotto too.
Entries close on 23 November at 11:59pm and Santa’s elves will then book in sessions during the three weekends before Christmas, starting 5 December… regardless of who has been naughty or nice!
To make the experience even more special, every child that meets Santa will be sent a free Rudolph soft toy of their own.
You can register for a slot from 20 November by visiting www.virginmedia.com/santa.
