Cheryl ‘is considering asking ex Liam Payne to move in with her after lockdown’ for sake of son Bear

Cheryl is reportedly thinking about asking her ex Liam Payne to move in with her to spend more time with their son Bear after the UK lockdown has been lifted.

The 36 year old, who is thought to be in talks for a Girls Aloud reunion after The Greatest Dancer was axed, split from the former One Direction star two years ago, but it's now thought that the pair could start living together for the sake of their three year old son.

While Cheryl has been isolating in her Buckinghamshire home with little Bear, 26 year old Liam made the decision to stay in London with his girlfriend Maya Henry throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

An insider has now come forward to reveal that the time apart has made the brunette beauty think about the future more seriously to the point where she is even considering asking her former flame to live with her.

"Lockdown has really got Cheryl thinking about her future and what is going to happen with Liam," a source told Heat magazine.

"Liam hasn’t been able to see Bear and it’s been so hard on all of them. She and Liam still get on really well and Cheryl has suggested that he move back in with them for a while when it’s all over."

The mole continued by explaining that the TV personality, who was recently left 'embarrassed' as Liam re-lived their 'cringe' first meeting on The X Factor, believes it would be beneficial for their boy to have both his parents around.

They said: "She has such a big house, so there’s lots of space and thinks it will be great for Bear to have them both around."

However, it is thought that the invitation to live with her does not apply to Liam's 19 year old model girlfriend Maya.

The source added: "Maya would be welcome to come round, but Cheryl is keen that Liam use the time to bond with his son, so she wouldn’t want Maya there all the time – Cheryl and Bear would need to be his priority.”

It comes as Liam recently emotionally revealed his son begged for him to visit and said he “needs” him in a heartbreaking FaceTime video call which “made him [Liam] want to cry”.

Opening up about his son in his weekly YouTube video, where he has been updating fans about his life in lockdown, he said of Bear: "He’s been really cute this week I have to mention.

“He was like: ‘Oh, we need you here now Daddy’,” Liam said as he pulled a sad face. The dad-of-one added: "Bless him, made me wanna cry.

"But, yeah we’re all missing family and friends right now so big love to all my family and fiends that I’m missing, I will see you again, I’m sure.”

He later admitted: “It’s been the toughest time being away from him at the moment.”
