Dancing On Ice winner and X Factor star Ray Quinn ‘working as Hermes delivery driver on £11.40 an hour’

Dancing On Ice winner Ray Quinn is reportedly working as a Hermes delivery driver earning £11.40 an hour.

Ray, 32, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2006 when he came in second place to Leona Lewis, is said to be working as a Hermes delivery driver and delighting fans with selfies as he drops off packages.

A source told The Sun: “Times are tough and no one can be snobby about work.

"Ray is a hard-grafting lad, and naturally loves being on the move, doing things and seeing people.

“He feared getting bored so applied for a job with Hermes and has been dropping off packages ever since.

"It’s kept him busy and he’s really popular – especially with fans who want a selfie. It's brilliant he's doing this – more and more people are bound to follow suit."

After The X Factor, Ray went on to win Dancing on Ice in 2009 and the All Stars version in 2014.

The multi-talented star has also starred on Brookside when he was younger and had a stint on Hollyoaks as Jonny Baxter in 2018.

Ray is still very involved in music and he released his latest album, Undeniable, in August.

Promoting the album on his Instagram, he wrote: “My brand new album #UNDENIABLE is OUT NOW! If you see it in ya local @hmvinstagram take a selfie and tag me in ya posts!!
