Denise Welch has responded to claims she ruffled feathers with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford during her This Morning appearance.
The Loose Women star, 62, has set the record straight after Eamonn, 60, told her to "calm down" as she made a impassioned speech about the coronavirus.
Following her TV appearance, one fan hit out at This Morning presenters Eamonn and Ruth on Twitter as they wrote: “I'm disappointed in Ruth and Eamon, you could see how uncomfortable they were at her speaking out. And proves they are not allowed to go against the government.
“What chance do we all really have here against the media and government. God I feel so let down with it, so fed up”.

To which Denise insisted: “Honestly. Ruth and Eamonn weren’t upset at me speaking out. But their job is to balance things xx”.
She later slammed Piers Morgan after he accused her of “spouting ill-informed nonsense” about the coronavirus pandemic.
The Loose Women star was criticised by Good Morning Britain star Piers following her covid-19 rant on This Morning.
Following Denise’s TV appearance, Piers, 55, tweeted: ”Dumb, deluded & dangerous Covid-deniers like Denise Welch need to stop being given airtime.
“Her idiotic, ill-informed ramblings – from a woman who never stops telling us that she suffers from mental illness – will cost lives by persuading people to think the virus isn’t a threat.”
To which Denise replied: “Please ask Mr Morgan to show me one tweet, one interview where I have denied Covid?
“He doesn’t want to be telling complete and utter lies with such a huge following. Seriously.”
The Loose Women star was then quickly defended by her friend Nadia Sawalha, who was recently slammed by Coleen Nolan’s manager, as she wrote: “I genuinely hope that neither @piersmorgan nor anyone he loves ever has to endure the pain of struggling with their mental health.
“Sending you the biggest of hugs @RealDeniseWelch a damn fine woman is what you are.”

Piers then quickly replied with: “If I had a loved one suffering from mental illness, I would stop them going on TV to spout ill-informed nonsense about Covid no longer being a serious threat.”
Denise then hit out at Piers as she said: “Basically Piers Morgan setting the ‘it’s good to talk’ campaign back 20 yrs. Of cause people who have admitted to mental health issues are incapable of making rational decisions for themselves. Unbelievable!!!!”
The Loose Women star was later defended by This Morning psychologist Emma Kenny who insisted: “Denise has NEVER denied Covid…it’s absolute bull that this is being suggested.”
As Denise shared a series of tweets from Emma she thanked the star following the criticised.
