Election Night Results 2020 – How to Watch

It’s Election Day Tuesday (November 3), and the results are coming in live.

Voters are casting their ballots now in a showdown between former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump, as well as some key races between Democrats and Republicans throughout the United States.

All of the election night results will be coming in live throughout the evening, and here’s how and where to watch.

CBS will air election night results live with Norah O’Donnell leading a special election night edition of CBS Evening News at 6:30 p.m. ET. Primetime national coverage will start at 7 p.m. ET.

Election night results will be live-streamed on CBSN online and the CBS News App. ET Live will also be streaming CBSN’s election night coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET through 11:45 p.m. ET on. ETLive.com as well as on the ET Live app on mobile, or by watching ET Live.

Watch the election night victory and concession speeches, and see the results of other key races on C-SPAN, with coverage beginning at 9 p.m. ET.

NBC News has an hour-by-hour breakdown of when to expect polls to close and results to be announced.

There will also be a results map on The New York Times’s home page throughout the night, with states colored blue or red as they are called. States won’t be colored until they’re officially called.

A group of Times journalists will also be producing a 2020 election live briefing from roughly 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. ET. The briefing will supply an overview of what’s happening in a variety of areas: the presidential race, Senate races, House races and the voting process itself.
