Isobel Steele has gushed over the exciting news that her Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller is expecting his first child with fiancée Steph Jones.
The 20-year-old, who plays Liv Flaherty in the popular soap, couldn't contain her joy when asked by Lorraine Kelly about her close pal's happy news on Wednesday morning.
"He'll really suit being a dad," Isobel said of the Aaron Dingle actor. "I'm really excited that he's at that chapter."
Danny, 30, and his other half Steph have been together for two years but first met in primary school. The couple exclusively announced their pregnancy and engagement in OK! earlier this month.
Danny and Steph also shared an adorable glimpse at their baby scan with OK!.
Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You soundtracked the footage, which saw Steph, who is due in October, holding various scan pictures of their baby.
After sharing the news, Danny told fans he was "overwhelmed" by the positive comments he and Steph received.
He wrote on Twitter: "I can't believe the love and support Stephanie and I have received with our news. We're literally overwhelmed and don't say that lightly. Thank you!! Some beautiful people out there, really is," alongside a heart emoji.
Danny told OK! how he was on the Emmerdale set and in the middle of filming a huge storyline when Steph found out she was pregnant.
Opening up about the moment his fiancée told him she is expecting a baby, Danny recalled how he was filming last month's dramatic barn explosion scenes, which saw Mandy and Paul's wedding day end in disaster when a freak accident fatally injured Paul.
Steph admitted she struggled to get hold of her fiancé to tell him the good news because he was tied up with the intense scenes.
She told us: "We've done so many tests that were negative so I wasn't expecting it to be positive – I couldn't believe it!
"I was shaking and trying to ring Danny, but he wasn't answering because he was on set."
"We were filming the barn explosion storyline," the actor added. "When I saw how many times she had rang me I had a feeling. I thought, either she's pregnant or something serious is going on."
