Georgia Harrison says she’s lost nine pounds in lockdown as she opens up on new fitness channel – EXCLUSIVE

Georgia Harrison has revealed she's lost an impressive nine pounds in weight since going into self-quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 25 year old, who recently revealed she's in a group chat with Rebel Wilson, spoke exclusively to OK! online to explain that she's spent the last eight weeks of lockdown taking care of her mind and body.

"Before lockdown I was in L.A. and I definitely wouldn't have called myself overweight, but I definitely put on a bit of weight," she said.

After returning from her trip from the City of Angels, she decided to knuckle down and get back into her fitness routine and focus on her diet.

Her hard work over the last two months has paid off, too, as she said: "Since I've been in lockdown I've lost about nine pounds."

The former Love Islander, whose debut Hollywood movie recently got postponed, went on to explain that she's been training her whole life and has now decided to start a separate Instagram channel, called Georgia Harrison Fitness, to help others get into shape, too.

She said: "I've always trained my whole life and I do feel like within my friendship group and also my family members – I'm always encouraging them, helping them, motivating them or teaching them what they should and shouldn't be doing with their fitness and nutrition. And literally just telling them the best way of losing weight.

"I don't see why I've never made a conscious effort to get that over to my followers.

"I felt like I should put that skill into a separate Instagram where I can just help people specifically on losing weight and fitness."

Although Georgia always looks her best on her social media channels, she confessed that, just like anyone, she falls into the trap of eating snacks when bored.

"I can literally put on stone just from boredom and eating snacks. That's fine with me but I also know that I have the ability to lose weight really quickly and really healthily if I do want to."

Speaking about her own fitness and diet, the reality star said that she exercises almost everyday of the week and is quite strict with what she consumes.

"I'm strict with my diet but not to the point where I feel hungry throughout the day. I'll make sure to eat nice, filling, healthy meals, cut back on alcohol and in between I like to have protein shakes because I really like something that's a little bit sweet.

"And I'll exercise everyday except on Sunday."

Georgia continued by explaining that it's not simply for the sake of losing weight and looking her best that she sticks to these rules.

One of the main and motivating factors behind getting up and doing something active during the day is down to her mental health.

"That's not just for my body though, I think it's for my mindset too," she said.

"Sometimes I can get a slight bit of anxiety or brain fog and as soon as I go for a run that completely clears. Either exercise or meditation is absolutely essential for me to get on with my day."
