Greta Van Fleet Announce New Album ‘The Battle At Garden’s Gate,’ Drop Lead Single

Greta Van Fleet have announced that they will release their second album, The Battle At Garden’s Gate, on April 16 next year.

On Friday, the band shared the first track from the record, a seven-minute single titled “Age Of Machine.”

Greta Van Fleet vocalist Josh Kiszka said the album title has Biblical references.

“This is a world with the ancient civilizations in it, just like our own parallel universe, really. It’s an analogy. Each song is a theme. A magnification of different cultures and civilizations inside of this world searching for some kind of salvation or enlightenment,” he told Rolling Stone.

Drummer Danny Wagner said The Battle At Garden’s Gate reflects the experiences of the rock band’s global tour with their first album.

Greta Van Fleet have also launched a website to coincide with the song’s release.
