Jack Whitehall hosted The Brit Awards for the fourth time earlier this week. The 32-year-old’s girlfriend Roxy Horner was by his side at the event for support, after being admitted to hospital earlier in the week following a health issue.

Following the event, Jack took to social media to share some behind-the-scenes snaps from the awards ceremony.

He posted the pictures in view of his 2.5 million Instagram followers.

One image showed the host getting ready in his dressing room with various people including a make-up artist and hairdresser applying the finishing touches to his appearance.

He joked that it took a village to get him camera ready.

Jack presented the show in a stylish maroon suit and bow tie, however he was seen in a different outfit on the red carpet.

He struck a pose in a black tuxedo with a white lapel alongside his girlfriend, 29, who wore a coordinating look.

Her ensemble featured a white waistcoat, a pair of black trousers, and a puffball sleeve top.

The actor and comedian took to the picture-sharing site to thank the man behind their ensembles.

“@joshuakanebespoke thanks for the epic gladrags,” he wrote online.

Roxy shared the photo on her own account, and expressed her delight at making it to the event.

“So glad I managed to make it to support my man,” she captioned the post followed by a red love heart emoji.

“In matching outfits too [laughing emoji],” she added.

Ahead of the BRITs, Roxy was admitted to hospital for an undisclosed illness.

“Currently sitting in hospital not knowing to laugh or cry every 5 mins but I’m going to choose to try and laugh because life is too damn short,” she wrote on social media.

Another post featured the caption: “Screw autoimmune diseases forever.”

She was given the green light to go home just one day before the music event.

A representative for Roxy declined to comment when contacted by Express.co.uk.

Following the O2 Arena event on Tuesday, Jack told his fans that the awards ceremony was “extra special” this year.

It was the first major indoor music event with a live audience to be held in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“An absolute honour to have hosted the @brits for the 4th time. That one felt extra special after the year we’ve had.

“Thanks to everyone that watched it. Big up the ladies who f**king slayed it. #brits2021,” he penned.
