James Argent says lockdown 'sucks' as he self isolates apart from Gemma Collins

James Argent has revealed his devastation at being apart from girlfriend Gemma Collins while on lockdown – and fans reckon that the two should get married very soon.

The two reality stars are known for their on-and-off relationship over the years, and had been recently spending time apart following Arg’s stint in rehab.

And since lockdown began during the coronavirus pandemic, Arg has revealed that he and Gemma have been social distancing in separate homes – which he thinks ‘sucks’.

Taking to Instagram earlier today, he shared a sweet snap of him and his partner kissing while in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower behind them.

Referencing Gemma’s new reality series, Gemma Collins: Diva On Lockdown, Arg wrote: ‘Lockdown absolutely sucks without you GC but I understand you have to entertain the nation & put a smile on people’s faces at this difficult time! #imissyou #wellmeetagain.’

A lot of the fans in the comments could not handle the cuteness, with many suggesting that Arg should pop the question to the former Dancing On Ice contestant.

‘You should marry GC,’ one wrote. ‘Just saying!’

Another added: ‘Can u both pls just get married already.’

‘Put a ring on it arg,’ another comment read.

In the meantime, Gemma has been busy promoting her Diva On Lockdown series, with the first episode broadcast tonight on ITVBe.

The show was originally planned to be a follow up to her reality series Diva Forever, which aired last year, but she was forced to change things up as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

And in tonight’s instalment, fans were left in hysterics over how she chose to pronounce Prince Charles’ Name.

In the episode, which was filmed before lockdown, the 39-year-old found herself on a red carpet, as she got to meet a number of fans.

While she was busy getting herself glammed up for the event, she didn’t seem to know how to pronounce the Prince’s name correctly.

‘It’s Prince Chiles,’ she said.

Gemma previously spoke about the show, and compared working without a cast and crew to her stint on reality series Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

She said: ‘Basically, it’s very strange, I’m not gonna lie, it’s bizarre.

‘In TV you normally have loads of people around you to bounce off and have a laugh with. We’d planned the whole series and were meant to be going here, there and everywhere, but we just haven’t been able to do it.’

She added: ‘But as I always do, I wanted to make the best of every situation and I do believe we’ve been able to make a fantastic series.’
