Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck are 'making it work' while apart, more news
How Bennifer are finding time for each other despite hectic work schedules
After spending most of the spring and summer together, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will be juggling a long-distance romance for the next few months while Ben films “Hypnotic” in Austin and Jen heads to Canada to start production on “Mother.” But a little time apart seems unlikely to harm their relationship, an insider tells People. “This is their life together now … They will see each other when they can,” explains a J.Lo source who hasn’t seen Jen this happy “in a long time.”Over the weekend, Ben found time to fly to New York City to watch his love perform in Central Park during Global Citizen Live. The next day, the two were photographed walking around the Big Apple, hand-in-hand, stopping at times to share a kiss. “Ben wanted to be by her side,” the source says. “They are always supportive of each other’s careers, and Jennifer was very excited to have Ben in New York City.” The stars are also “making it work” by keeping Los Angeles as a mutual home base, since Jen’s twins now attend school there just like the three children Ben shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Finally, it doesn’t hurt that “Jennifer is as protective of Ben as he is of her,” says the source. “She is the happiest that she has been in a long time.”
