Kelly Clarkson’s Estranged Husband Responds To Her Divorce Petition

Kelly Clarkson‘s estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock has filed a response to the singer’s divorce petition.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the singer and her husband are in agreement when it comes to the custody of their two kids– 5-year-old daughter, River, and 4-year-old son, Remington. Both Clarkson and Blackstock are seeking joint custody of the kids.

In her petition, Clarkson asked for the couple’s prenuptial agreement to be honored as well as the court to deny any request for spousal support. Decisions on both requests have yet to be made.

Clarkson filed for divorce in Los Angeles on June 4, 2020, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple got married in October of 2013.
