Korn Release Apocalyptic New Video For ‘Finally Free’

Korn have released a video for “Finally Free,” a song from The Nothing album they released last year.

The apocalyptic, sci-fi themed video for which the band has teamed up with the makers of online game World Of Tanks Blitz, shows them performing on a giant tower amidst a raging battle.

The visual also features Captain, a character in the World Of Tanks Blitz game, as a huge fan of Korn attempting to attend their performance.

The video also marks the launch of the game’s new Halloween mode, titled “Burning Games.”

“I really like World of Tanks Blitz. It’s true to the era, there are a lot of great tanks in there and you don’t just jump on and start shooting,” Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said. “I think there’s a connection between rock and video games, because video games are intense and rock ‘n’ roll music is intense. It seems like they have always gone hand in hand.”

During a five-stage event (Oct 16-24), dubbed “Convergence,” players can complete in-game challenges and win pieces of the band’s artwork and other unique items.

Korn’s previous tie-up with a video game was during a special event in August 2019 when they performed a virtual show inside AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Worlds.
