Lady Gaga Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 With ‘Chromatica’!

Lady Gaga is back on top.

The 34-year-old “Stupid Love” singer debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with her sixth studio album, Chromatica, on Sunday (June 7), according to the chart company.

This is also Gaga‘s sixth No. 1 studio album on the Billboard 200, moving 274,000 equivalent album units in its first week, which also makes it the biggest week for any album by a woman in 2020.

She previously topped the charts with the A Star Is Born soundtrack, Joanne, Cheek to Cheek, Artpop and Born This Way.

It also marks the fifth biggest week of 2020 for any album. With six No. 1 albums in nine years, she holds the record for fastest a woman has claimed six No. 1 albums. She’s now just one of eight women to have at least six No. 1 albums.
