Laura Whitmore shares rare snaps of daughter as tot decorates Christmas tree

Having left the Love Island villa for the final time earlier this year, Laura Whitmore has been enjoying more time with her young daughter, Stevie Re.

The actress, who is currently making her West End debut, has even shared a rare glimpse of family life with an adorable post on Instagram.

TDaughter Stevie is clearly getting into the festive spirit with several photos of her decorating the Christmas Tree with baubles, in various seasonal outfits.

Sampling from a classic Christmas track, DJ Laura wrote in the caption: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”

“It’s a tradition to collect Christmas decorations from all the cities I travel to. This year we had help putting them up!”

In the first image, Stevie Re as she reaches upwards to decorate the tree with her little hands clasped around a decoration.

Looking jolly and bright in her red PJs, the little one can be seen hanging a felted Scottie dog with a tartan scarf, perhaps in a nod to her dad Ian Stirling – who is originally from Edinburgh.

However, 37 year old Laura also has her own special bauble on the tree with a Guinness-branded Christmas pudding, which is made in the DJ’s hometown of Dublin.

Whilst the presenter isn’t in the photograph, she is keeping a watchful eye on young Stevie who was born last year, in March.

In the next image, daughter Stevie Re shows off more of her enviable decoration collection with a small golden dog visible by her feet.

The sweet snap also shows the rest of the toddler’s outfit, with red and black check trousers teamed with a long-sleeved Minnie Mouse t-shirt.

Wrapping up against the cold, Stevie Re also wears a pair of trendy fleece slippers with leopard print detailing.

However in the final and most festive snap of the tot, she wears a very apt snowman costume with a large carrot nose and large cartoon eyes on the hood.

Surrounded by an assortment of gold and red trimmings for the tree, the young girl is in heaven with countless options to choose from.

Yet, the youngster has settled on a burgundy bauble with delicate gold thread which seems to have captured her attention – at least for now.

Fans adored the carousel of images, with one writing: “Love those wee cute hands helping…”

Despite the wholesome post, Laura also took the chance to advocate for one of her favourite organisations, Advent of Change.

The Irish TV host can even be seen opening one of their many charity calendars, with profits from the sale going to multiple good causes.

Laura even shares a short clip of her opening today’s door, which features non-profit Baby LifeLine, before zooming out to the product in full.

The charity provides support and medical care to expectant mothers in war-torn Ukraine, a cause close to Laura’s heart – having only given birth a year ago.

However, viewers can hear husband Iain hilariously call out to Laura midway through the video, saying: "You having fun there?"

Well he is used to voicing over Love Island, so may be Iain likes to bring his work home with him.
