Love Island’s Jack Fowler opens up on plans to collaborate with Wes Nelson and Sam Bird on song

Love Island veteran Jack Fowler has revealed plans to release music with his former islanders Wes Nelson and Sam Bird.

Jack, 24, recently gave fans a pleasant surprise as he released his debut song Back To Yours and shocked with his hidden singing talent.

The reality star, who recently opened up about the “dark place” fame can take you to, is the third star from the fourth series of the ITV2 dating show to venture into the music industry.

Wes Nelson, who recently split from Arabella Chi, showed off his singing and rapping skills when he appeared on The X Factor: Celebrity last year.

Meanwhile, Sam Bird, exclusively opened up to OK! onlineabout starting from the bottom as he released his debut single earlier this year.

And, Jack has now revealed his hopes to reunite with his former islanders to make a tune in an exclusive chat with OK! online.

When asked if he would collaborate with Wes, 22, and Sam, 25, on a track, he said: “I think it would be a smart move because we've all got different [talents].

“Sam's more into the DJing so he could produce it and Wes is still yet to bring us some music from himself so, it would be interesting to hear what Wes could bring to the table and see what he could perform and how he is on a track. Hopefully, as a three, we could come together and that would be a smart move.”

And, it seems Jack’s reality star mates from the villa did contribute to his debut song, Back To Yours, as he asked for some of his fellow islander’s feedback before realising it.

He said: “Josh [Denzel] knew about this from a couple of months ago – I played it to him before.

“I spoke to a few people in the industry beforehand and played it to them as I wanted to hear what they had to say.”

And it’s not just for career purposes that Jack stays in touch with his former villa buddies as he said he regularly catches up with them socially, too.

Jack revealed: “I spoke to Josh and Wes not too long ago. I spoke to Sam Bird, too – and Jack Fincham.

“So what it's like it is when you leave school – you obviously keep friends with who you talk to and some friends you don't speak so often but you're still cool with.

“We have our clique but if I go to an event and I see other people then I will always go out my way and say hello to everyone because, ultimately, we're all in the same industry and we started our journey together, so it's the right thing to do.”
