A FUN WEEK

Me and Charlie went to crazy golf this week – I've not been in ages. It was so fun and we were so competitive with each other, ha. I'm very sporty and I think our child will be very athletic. I would much rather go go-karting or Go Ape, than dinner and drinks and I felt I really needed this, after my anxiety troubles a few weeks ago. We also went to Southend-on-Sea on Sunday and had fish and chips on the seafront – with the seagulls, lol. I needed the fresh air!

SLEEP TIGHT, GORGEOUS AZAYLIA

My heart goes out to Ashley Cain and his girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee after their eight-month-old baby Azaylia passed away this week following a long battle with Leukemia. They have been so positive – I wouldn't survive and I just couldn't cope with it, if I was in their shoes. But they've kept everyone updated on Instagram and have raised awareness for Leukemia in babies. As a mum-to-be I can't imagine how Safiyya feels. It's awful. What a cruel world! They said Azaylia is one in a billion and she really is. She's made such an impact.

THE REAL LAUREN

I recorded a podcast this week with Sophie Kasaei and Nathan Henry, which is marking 10-years of Geordie Shore. It's not out yet, but watch this space! But we were talking about absolutely everything and of course my pregnancy. Sophie was saying she's a similar age and feels under pressure to settle down and said that I give her hope. And I can relate, because that's what I went through. I'm not saying this is the perfect age to settle down, but there's no wrong or right time.

She kept asking me questions and she told me I should have my own show. Ha. People DM me and say, "It's so refreshing to see a celebrity talk about their anxiety," because some celebrities pretend everything's rosy. I've got to talk about these things and reassure people they're not alone and keep it as real as I can!

GETTING READY

I had my first hypnobirthing session this week with Marie the Modern Midwife and I found it really helpful. It's prepping me for the birth, because going into labour is like fight or flight mode. You can either go into panic or a 'zone.' I'm trying to train myself to be ready. We're doing a session once a week, where we get into position, put music on, do breathing techniques and it's been really interesting. And I really hope it helps with my birth. It's worth giving a go!

MEDICAL MISSION

I completed a First Aid course this week for babies and children and I'm really glad I've done it! I previously got my certificate for the adults course, and this course was really interesting too, because you learn how to save a baby or an infant. It teaches you what to do if the baby's choking and the signs of meningitis and what to watch out for if they've hit their head. I would advise any new mum to do it. It makes me feel confident for when the baby comes and if I'm on my own with a newborn and something happens, I'll know what to do.
