Rebekah Vardy apologises for comparing Peter Andre's penis to a 'chipolata'

Rebekah Vardy has apologised for comparing ex Peter Andre’s penis to a ‘miniature chipolata’.

The Dancing On Ice star made the comments in a 2004 kiss and tell interview, in which she mocked the Mysterious Girl singer after having a one night stand with him.

Now, the 38-year-old has stated that she apologised to Peter over the remarks, in a 59-page document filed by her legal team to the High Court amid her defamation lawsuit against Coleen Rooney.

The document reads: ‘It is admitted that the Claimant gave a “kiss and tell” interview to The News of the World in 2004 when the Claimant was 22.

‘The Claimant regrets having given this interview and has apologised to Mr Andre.

‘The Claimant was in a difficult relationship with her ex-husband and felt pressurised by her ex-husband to give this story to the newspaper.’

Rebekah said in the interview that she slept with Peter when her marriage to first husband Mark Godden was ‘coming to an end’, but was not satisfied by the tryst.

She said: ‘I thought he was going to be a fantastic lover. Then he took his trousers off!

‘He was the worst lover I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even worth the train fare.

‘Peter was tiny. The smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen. It was like a miniature chipolata.’

Peter, who married Emily McDonagh in 2015 and was previously married to Katie Price, never publicly addressed the comments.

Coleen’s team had brought up the News of the World interview in previous papers, which stated: ‘In the interview, the Claimant disclosed among other things that (i) she had sexual intercourse with Peter Andre in November 2001, and that it lasted just five minutes.

‘(ii) Peter Andre had “the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen” that was “like a miniature chipolata”.

‘(iii) that he “had absolutely no hairs on his body” and (iv) he “slaver[ed]” like one of her boxer dogs when he kissed her.’

The 34-year-old’s team alleged that Rebekah had previously put private information about celebrities into the public domain.

Also in the documents filed by Becky’s legal team, her lawyers claim that Coleen had sent a congratulations message to the then-pregnant WAG, ahead of her now infamous ‘It’s……… Rebekah Vardy’s account’ social media post.

Lawyers allege that Coleen texted Rebekah: ‘congratulations on your brilliant news. Hope it all goes well for you x.’

They claim Coleen knew her Instagram post would receive ‘immediate and widespread republication on social media, the broadcast press, and the print press’, with the document reading: ‘Given the seriousness of the accusation made against the Claimant, it was obvious to the Defendant that the Claimant would receive extreme abuse and hostility as a result of the Defendant’s public “outing” of her.’

Rebekah’s formal reply was issued ahead of last minute talks between the women, in the hopes that the summit will avoid a libel trial next year.

Both sides’ legal teams will decide on a mediator, venue and date for the face to face talks in the coming days.

Each side will have their own room, while a third room will be used to attempt to broker a deal between Rebekah and Coleen to avoid a five-day trial next year.

The stars have until February 8 to reach an agreement, or will have to face off in court next year.

Last month, a judge ruled in Rebekah’s favour on the first stage, agreeing that Coleen directly pointed the finger at Rebekah as the guilty party, and that saying ‘account’ was not enough, and ordered the mum-of-four to pay £22,913.50 in legal costs.

Coleen alleged that Rebekah Vardy’s account was responsible for leaking false stories about her to the press, after she set up an elaborate Instagram ruse to find out who had been leaking fake tales she had planted on her own story.
