Sophie Ellis-Bextor shocks fans with gory injuries after cycling accident
Sophie Ellis-Bextor has shocked fans by taking to social media to share a photo of herself after being rushed to hospital.
The 41 year old took to Instagram to share an image of her gory injuries after suffering a nasty fall by the side of the River Thames.
Murder On The Dancefloor hitmaker Sophie posted the photo in black and white to save her fans from the full shock of her wounds, which have left her looking almost unrecognisable.
Sophie — who has been hosting weekly kitchen discos live on Instagram during lockdown — is seen wearing a hospital gown and face mask in the snap, with a bandage taped to her head and scraped all the way up her arm.
