Susanna Reid was reduced to tears on Good Morning Britain after reading a heartbreaking note from a mum.
The 49 year old, who recently left viewers blushing as she recreated the iconic When Harry Met Sally orgasm scene, was left unable to speak after reading about a mum who has only seen her autistic son twice this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The TV presenter read out the Facebook post before choking up as she said: "Suzanne on Facebook says, 'My son is severely autistic, he lives in a care home, he's distraught he can't see me… or come home to visit…'"

Susanna then apologised as tears formed in her eyes and she was unable to keep reading.
Dr Hilary Jones, 67, then took over as he continued: "It is very distressing, and we know those children with learning disabilities have very much higher mortality rates of the coronavirus than other children of the same age.
"Your grief, your pain, is shared by so many who want to see their children."

Susanna continued to tear up as her co-host Piers Morgan, 55, who was recently praised for defending Kate Garraway against a troll, went on to explain that the woman's son is 26 years old before questioning why he's been kept apart from his family throughout this period.
"This poor mother Suzanna has only seen him a couple of times. Two times. Her 26 year old severely autistic son, twice she's seen him since February. It's heartbreaking," he said.
Brunette beauty Susanna then added: "I just can't… He's 26 years old…" before pursing her lips as more tears flowed down her cheeks.
