Willie Nelson To Share ‘Letters To America’ In New Book

Willie Nelson has announced that on June 29, Harper Horizon will publish his new book, “Willie Nelson’s Letters to America.”

The forthcoming book is a collection of letters addressed to his fellow Americans.

In a summary about the book, Harper Horizon wrote, “Willie’s latest book–a series of heartfelt letters, along with song lyrics to some of his biggest hits–draws upon his incredible seventy-year music career, his love-filled family life, and his role as an American icon and font of wit and wisdom.”

“From his opening letter ‘Dear America’ to his ‘Dear Willie’ epilogue, Willie remind us of the endless promise and continuous obligations of all Americans–to themselves, to one another, and to their nation,” the publisher added.

The book will also include lyrics to some of Nelson’s most famous songs, including “Let Me Be a Man,” “Family Bible,” “Summer of Roses,” “Me and Paul,” and “Yesterday’s Wine.”

The country music veteran has also written best-sellers such as “It’s a Long Story,” “The Tao of Willie,” and a novel titled “Pretty Paper.”
