    GOOD MORNING, UNITED FANS

The Red Devils reportedly have NO intention of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo despite recent claims.

According to Manchester Evening News, United have been 'laughing off' the suggestion that a deal was being discussed.

Ronaldo's future has been in thrown into doubt following reports that Juventus could sell him next summer.
And as expected, he was immediately linked with a move to United.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has revealed that he hopes to play with Angel Gomes again, and that the two still speak 'regularly' on the phone.

The England star, 23, told A Bola: “It’s a pleasure to talk about him, I think he’s doing very well at Boavista.

“We speak regularly on the phone and I’ve congratulated him several times. It’s a good sign. He scored that incredible midfield goal that went viral. A great goal really! But with his talent nothing surprises me.

“He has incredible skill. Whoever plays alongside him realises he’s an exciting talent. Having trained with him since a very young age, it’s easy to see his success and to predict his bright future.

“He’s a great team player and one of the things that I most hope will happen is to play with him again. It’s a wish that I trust will come true.”

And finally, Rafael van der Vaart has slated Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for not giving Donny van de Beek enough game time.
The summer signing from Ajax has not started a single game in the Premier League this season.

Ex-Spurs star Van der Vaart told NOS: “Wait? Patience? Would you like it if you are stuck on the bench?

“The players in front of you can’t even kick a marble and [Solskjaer] still does not put you in the team.

“I would not be happy. I would certainly not be enjoying my football there.

“Look at the player Donny is and how he performs at international level. I would not have it.”

    ZLAT'S THAT

Dean Henderson has never seen anyone hit the ball with as much power as Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

He told England's YouTube channel: “I remember warming up, I got called back off a loan spell with Grimsby Town. Zlatan had just signed and I was warming up with him, it was a mad moment for myself.

“Zlatan, this guy hits the ball so hard, I've never seen someone hit it so hard in my life. To go up against him in training every day was fantastic.

“As a young boy growing up as a Manchester United fan that was something I was inspired to do, for me it was great and I always remember that well.”

“Arsenal is a huge club, one of the biggest in the world, and I told my agent from the start that if Arsenal came in for me, I wanted to wear the shirt, play at the stadium and feel the fans' support because it’s a club I’ve always watched.

“I’m now very pleased to be here today alongside top players. It’s a childhood dream of mine.”

    RON A MISSION

Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to play until he's 41 and become the top goalscorer of all time by a former Manchester United coach.

Fitness coach Mick Clegg worked with Ronaldo at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson and regards the 35-year-old as 'the best athlete around'.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Before Ronaldo, the best athlete in terms of work on his body was Ryan Giggs.

“He was the strongest, the most attentive to details. If Giggs played at United until he was 40, Ronaldo can play till he is 41.

“Cristiano was the only one able to go beyond the high standards of Giggs.

“He will score more goals than Bican.

“Ronaldo will change his way of playing, maybe his role too, as it happened with Giggs. He's going to stay close to the top because he's obsessed with being the best ever.

“He trains a lot, he takes care of recovery and sleep, he has a cook, he knows how to avoid stress.

“He is attentive to details, this is the secret even if an injury can always arrive, it is not 100 per cent predictable.”

    RED AHEAD

Sir Alex Ferguson was celebrating a £12,500 winner after his horse Protektorat stormed to victory at Cheltenham.

The 6-5 favourite was no match for the others as he made all to land the SSS Super Alloys Supports Racing Welfare Novices' Chase.

Protektorat, who is trained by Dan Skelton, was asked for more three jumps from home and left the others in his wake with a brilliant 17-length win.

Unfortunately for Fergie, the only bad news was that Manchester United are nowhere near as impressive as his horse.

The side he led to 13 Premier League titles currently sit 14th in the table under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

    RASH DECISION

More from Marcus Rashford on how he's been keen to help his 'little brother' Gomes out.

He A Bola: “Having him train with us at that time was a great experience and opportunity. I remember that during training he faced us all without fear, always anxious to have the ball.

“There are many things that unite us, we have had similar growth experiences.

“We lived in the same club houses and were in the same development system, aimed at selected players. We always got along very well.

“We lived together for about three years. I was able to provide guidance on my first experiences with the first team. This advice is still there, like he’s a younger brother.

“He has everything to reach the top. I always tell him. He’s an attacking midfielder, but personally I see him as someone who advances on the pitch comfortable with the ball.

“So he can play in other positions with equal success. It’s easy to play with him.

“It was something very natural, because he’s always looking for a quick pass, which surprises defenders and creates opportunities to score. I can thank him for a lot of goals.”
