Steve McFadden has played the iconic role of Phil Mitchell in EastEnders since 1990 and has become a popular character among BBC viewers.

As a result of his success, the soap star is thought to be worth a whopping £2.1 million.

So what about his family life away from the soap?

Steve has five children in total.


He has a son, Matthew McFadden, thought to be 30, with ex Sue Marshall.

He also has two daughters Teona, now 20, and a 14 year old daughter with his former partner Angela Bostock.

In June 2009, Steve also became father to another daughter, with Rachel Sidwell.

The couple reportedly split a few months later.

In 2016 Steve and partner Karen Cairns welcomed their first baby daughter.

A source told the Sun newspaper at the time: "Steve and Karen are both over the moon.

"Her pregnancy did come as a surprise, but now they are both really happy.”
