Gavin MacLeod remembered: Ed Asner, Marie Osmond, more celebs honor the late 'Love Boat' star

Following the news that actor Gavin MacLeod — who’s perhaps best known for his roles on “The Love Boat” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” — had passed away at 90 on May 29, famous friends and former co-stars took to social media to mourned and honor the star. See what some of them had to say, starting with Gavin’s old “Mary Tyler Moore” colleague Ed Asner… “My heart is broken. Gavin was my brother, my partner in crime (and food) and my comic conspirator. I will see you in a bit Gavin. Tell the gang I will see them in a bit. Betty! It’s just you and me now,” Ed wrote on Twitter alongside photos of himself and Gavin back in the day, referencing his only other surviving “MTMS” co-star, Betty White.
