The video was posted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Twitter account. They wrote: “Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family. W & C.”

The video, shot by filmmaker Will Warr, showed the family playing by the beach and toasting marshmallows.

What did a body language expert make of it?

Body language expert Judi James told Express.co.uk: “This very sweet and also very smart video will create a lump in the throat of royals fans and might even make the cynics a little bit teary too.

“It’s smart because it shows us such a generous glimpse of family life chez Cambridges but without invading their own privacy or presenting the kind of stilted, awkward look of previous royal films shot over the years.”

The family manages to look so natural, the expert claimed, despite being filmed.

She said: “Despite the obvious presence of the cameras they have managed to make this look very real and more than a little spontaneous in terms of the body language.

“Children are very rarely good actors, especially very small children like Louis and so when we see them running, playing and interacting with their parents we know we are watching some authentic moments.”

And their loving moment together in the video was full of authenticity as well, Judi claimed.

“Even when Kate and William pause for their loving anniversary moment, turning to look at one another with very loving, proud smiles, the moment is crashed by Louis and if that wasn’t how he normally saw his parents behaving I doubt he’d be laughing and grinning with them in the way that he is,” she said.

Judi went on: “The children happily pile around their father with no inhibitions and they clearly love being chased by both Kate and William.

“Their personalities are just as they have seemed on recent photo shoots, with George looking more grown-up, reserved and thoughtful while Charlotte enjoys the loud chasing and romping games and Louis is as chatty and happy as he is mobile.

“As well as the loving glances they exchange, William and Kate also look like the proudest parents.

“Openly tactile, playful and as boisterous as their children, the couple have finally chosen to complete the anniversary postings by showing themselves as proud parents as well as a loving couple.”

Kate Middleton wore a blouse from a French brand in the video, in which she was praised by fans as “beautiful”.

It has an upright ruffled collar, perfect for pairing under a thick and cosy jumper.

The Cambridge’s appear to be wearing the same outfits as they were in their official Christmas card.

The Marguerite blouse has been seen on Kate several times, worn under her red wine sweater.

Kate and William’s photoshoot, published yesterday, focused on just the two of them.

They wore matching blue and posed in with their arms around one another.

Judi told Express.co.uk their body languase showed “mutal togetherness”.

She said: “William and Kate’s body language together provides echoes of their signals of love that we saw at their wedding.”
