Lil Durk and J. Cole Deliver Uplifting Collab "All My Life"

Lil Durk has dropped off his J. Cole-assisted cut, “All My Life.”

Clocking in at almost four minutes, “All My Life” is set to appear on Durkio’s forthcoming eight studio album Almost Healed. “I just be moody. Whatever mood I’m in, I just go to the studio and just make the music, you know what I’m saying? I just feel like a positive vibe went up with Dr. Luke, you know what I’m saying? That’s the first song he played and I just felt it and I’m like, ‘Man, I want J. Cole On this.’ And I made it happen,” he told Apple Music 1. “I’ve been talking to him, checking up on him, just seeing how you doing. You wait for the right moment for him to ask to be on the song. The song be big. I just wanted to be like, ‘I want J. Cole on the song.’ So when we do the song, the first person popped in my head, I’m like, ‘I got to get J. Cole on this.’

He also named Cole as one of his cornerstone artists, calling him “one that I looked up to that give out a positive message to” and also naming JAY-Z and Swizz Beatz. “Yeah, Swizz got me and Hov connected, so that’s how we started talking, you know what I’m saying? It’s just about relationships, about energy, and about keeping the vibes together, you know what I’m saying?” he shared.
