McDonald's is reportedly set to restrict the number of additional Pokémon toys you can buy when the characters turn up in UK Happy Meals from May 19, according to reports.
The fast food restaurant hasn't yet confirmed what the included Pokémon gift will be with the meals.
However McDonald's is expected to offer the same limited-run Pokémon cards which it offered in the US.
The same promotion reportedly caused chaos in the US back in February, though.
Customers quickly bought up supplies of the $2.49 (£1.78) Happy Meals in order to grav the included Pokémon cards and sell them on for profit.
McDonald's in the UK is now being warned ahead of time to place limits on customer spending.
Nintendo Life has reportely obtained an internal memo which states customers will be limited to "one additional toy beyond their Happy Meal allocation", according to Eurogamer, although notes there still isn't a limit on buying up the Happy Meals themselves.
It's been claimed Happy Meal food was being found binned in the US, while large stock boxes of the Pokémon cards meant for delivery to McDonald's restaurants mysteriously appeared on eBay.
YouTubers were seen broadcasting pack openings for dozens of Happy Meal boxes online after they had driven round different McDonald's to order.
Meanwhile, families complained they had turned up at restaurants later that day to be told all outlets in their local area had sold out.
McDonald's recently revealed it would stop offering plastic toys in Happy Meals. This led to the switch to Pokémon cards for the recent US promotion.

Pokémon cards have recently seen a huge resurgence in popularity, thanks to popular YouTubers buying up some of the few remaining unopened boxes of original cards, and generating a big spike of interest.
Sets of the Pokémon cards which are available in US Happy Meals are currently being sold on eBay for hundreds of dollars.
Daily Star has contacted McDonald's for comment.
Meanwhile a McDonald's fan has hit headlines this week as they shared a secret recipe for homemade 'Big Mac sauce' that's apparently "dead on".
The food lover showed a snap of his decadent Wagyu burger which was smothered in cheese and sauce before sharing his recipe which he claims tastes just like McDonald's.
