Michael Jackson wife: Did Jackson remarry after Lisa Marie Presley? Who was his wife?

The anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death came and went last week, leaving fans remembering the singer. His private life always intrigued fans, so much so that he was forced to cover his children with blankets and bags when they left the house. The same could be said for his wives, who were also thrust into the limelight when they were together.

Did Michael Jackson remarry after Lisa Marie Presley?

Michael Jackson had two wives, the second of which came after his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley and Jackson married just 20 days after her divorce from her first husband in May 1994.

Presley first met in 1975, but it has been claimed their relationship began in 1992.

It was reported Jackson became strongly dependent on his wife after accusations of child molestation went public.

She sought a divorce in January 1996, after she had reportedly helped him to go to rehabilitation to recover from faltering health and addiction to drugs, as discussed in Randy J Taraborrelli’s book, The Magic and the Madness.

Jackson then married Rowe, a dermatology nurse, while he was on tour in Sydney, Australia on November 13, 1996.

The pair had met while Jackson claimed to have been being treated for vitiligo by dermatologist Arnold Klein, who became a close friend of his.

She was six months pregnant with his first child at the time, according to Taraborrelli’s book.

The pair had their first child very quickly, with Rowe giving birth to Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, who is commonly known as Prince, on February 13, 1997.

The pair also had a second child, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, who was born on April 3, 1998.

Jackson and Rowe divorced in 1999, but the star had full custody of the children, until in 2004 when she went back to court to reverse the decision after the singer was subject to allegations of sexual abuse.

The pair came to a settlement and Jackson was acquitted of the 10 charges in 2005.

Rowe has since made further comments about Jackson, after his death, when she claimed the pair never had sex, and their relationship was closer to her being his “thoroughbred.”

Speaking to a newspaper in 2009, she said: “I went to the ‘office’, which is what we called the medical clinic.

“They impregnated me. It’s just like I impregnate my mares for breeding. It was very technical.

“Just like I stick the sperm up my horse, this is what they did to me. I was his thoroughbred.”
