Mum left in hysterics after son writes ‘persuasive’ note asking for pocket money

Kids will do just about anything to get a bit of pocket money from their parents.

Whether it's completing a few chores or getting their homework done on time.

But one child decided to really jazz things up by writing a letter to his mum to voice what he wants.

Fortunately his parent was left in hysterics by the "incredibly sweet" letter which went viral on social media.

In the post, the mum told how the "persuasive" message left her crying with laughter.

And since it was shared online, many praised the nine-year-old boy for how smartly it was put together.

The note said: "Dear Kylie and Paul, I have felt that children should have pocket money because the benefits outweigh the negatives.

"In writing this letter I hope to persuade you. My reasons are as follows:

"I strongly believe that children should have pocket money because it would teach them the value of money.

"Giving children pocket money would teach them responsibility, also I would stop nagging.

"As a nine-year-old boy, I feel that it would benefit the both of us and would relieve stress."

The little lad added: "I believe that allowing children pocket money would encourage independence and responsibility.

"It would also teach them the value of money.

"Please consider the points I have made. Yours sincerely Joseph."

The handwritten note secured over 2,000 likes on Facebook with many applauding the boy with praise.

A relative wrote: "As his union rep/grandma I back this proposal."
