Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is “totally out of her depth” with growing vegetables despite her fiancé Joe Swash likening her to gardening expert Charlie Dimmock.
The 31 year old, who recently up-cycled a white tray table into a stunning lilac design, shared an update on her vegetables in the greenhouse in her sprawling garden at her £1.2million Essex home.
Mum-of-three Stacey described how she had been inundated with messages from her 4.4million Instagram followers about her greenhouse after she planted vegetables.
Speaking from inside her greenhouse alongside former EastEnders actor Joe, 39, she said: “Loads of you are asking me about how the veg are doing in the greenhouse and honestly it is completely out of my depth at this point.”

Dad-of-two Joe, 39, added: “I don’t know what you have done to them but they are growing at a rate of knots. Honestly, they are brilliant – look at the size of them!”
Stacey panned to the rows of potted vegetables on the ledges of the greenhouse and compared her crops to the jungle-based 1995 film Jumanji.
She added: “It’s like Jumanji in here! I am going to have to re-pot them but I am totally out of my depth here.”
“I’m going to have to plant them outside. I’ve just been watering them every day thinking eventually I will kill them because I am rubbish at plants but they’re actually growing!”
However, Joe was in awe of his wife-to-be and likened her to English gardening expert Charlie Dimmock before describing how he “used to really fancy” the Garden Rescue presenter.
Stacey added: “You always have to get pervy don’t you? Even in the greenhouse!”
It comes after green-fingered Stacey gave a tour of her huge greenhouse flanked by two water butts in March and excitedly declared: “I might grow some veg!”
Showing the potting tables inside, Stacey said: “My grandad had a little greenhouse so I am going to try and grow some vegetables like my grandad.”
Stacey also revealed her “favourite part of the garden” which is the magical wooden pergola tunnel with vines and ivy draping over the beams.
“The lady who lived here (the most beautiful kind lady) said that in the summer the plants flower with draping white flowers all along here,” Stacey penned in an emotional clip.
