And if you like weird stats then stick around because we’ve got a doozy for you next.

Tottenham have not drawn at home in 26 games – hang on, that’s not the weird part – and none of their previous 108 ties at their home ground have ended goalless.

As a result, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of just THREE grounds in Premier League history to have never seen a goalless draw, and it’s not as if there hasn’t been ample opportunity with 78 games played at the ground.

It’s the longest such run without a 0-0 result at home that any club has ever experienced in the Premier League.

Coming back to Spurs and managers for a moment, one former fan favourite around the north London club could soon be setting up shop across town at Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino – the man who master-minded Spurs’ unlikely run to the Champions League final in 2019 – is thought to be close to taking on the vacant managerial role at the Blues, who are of course Tottenham’s rivals.

And now another former Spurs boss – Harry Redknapp – claims Harry Kane could follow his old manager to Stamford Bridge.

A quick look at tonight’s arena.

Doesn’t matter how many times you see it – it’s quite something that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It’s a miserable, wet night in north London, so hopefully these two can put on a performance to brighten things up a bit.

We’ve briefly touched on it, but Tottenham’s season has slid from bad to worse in the last two months, with first Antonio Conte and latterly Cristian Stellini departing from the dugout, with Ryan Mason now taking charge of the club until the end of the season.

The former midfielder had a decent record during his previous stint in charge back in 2021, winning three and losing two of his five games in charge in the league.

But now he has set his eyes on the permanent job – and what a statement he could make tonight!

For more on that one, check out the link below.

So three changes from the hosts, and seemingly a formation switch after that dreadful showing against Newcastle.

Forster, Lenglet and Richarlison come in for Lloris, Sarr and Kulusevski.

United on the other hand make just the one change with Martial making way for Sancho.

Fernandes starts, with Shaw keeping his place at the heart of the United defence.

And here’s the visitors…

Right then, shall we get some team news?

We’re about an hour from kick-off now, and the starting XIs are set to drop any second now…

There’s been some huge team news for Man United fans, who have been missing a few players with injuries.

But Bruno Fernandes has traveled to the capital tonight with the squad DESPITE fears he could miss out due to being seen in a protective boot – but will he make the team?

We’ll find out in just a few moments.

Some real stunners in there – you’d let Tottenham off celebrating them even if it wasn’t a game day.

Remember Sandro? He’s surely firmly in the Michu area of the ‘Streets Will Never Forget’ pantheon of former Prem stars.

To be fair, you wouldn’t begrudge them a bit of confidence, given their dominance in the tie.

As head to head records go, this has always been a favourable fixture for United.

No team has beaten another more times than the Red Devils have won against Tottenham (39) in the Premier League.

In all competitions United still dominate, and by some margin.

In 198 meetings, the visitors tonight have come out on top on 96 occasions, drawing 49 more, while Spurs have won just 53 matches in a tie that dates back to the halcyon days of 1899.

Not exactly the kind of game a Spurs fan will want when they’re looking to breathe some life into a season that is slipping dangerously towards ‘disaster’ territory.

United fans are clearly feeling pretty confident ahead of this one…

As we’ve seen, they do have a fairly good recent record against Tottenham, but will that run be extended tonight?

A reminder that tonight’s is not the only offering in the Premier League.

We’ve got two more games for you, with Southampton taking on Bournemouth in a South Coast clash at the bottom of the table, while Everton host Newcastle as Sean Dyche looks to rescue the Toffees from the drop zone.

To follow those games, check out the link below.

Ahead of the game, let’s look at where we find these two top four rivals in the table.

The hosts had looked contenders for one of the final two Champions League spots behind Arsenal and City, but their poor form of late looks to be playing them out of the conversation.

One win in their last five has left Tottenham seventh, behind Liverpool on goal difference, with tonight’s visitors in pole position to take third spot.

A in tonight will put the visitors behind their city rivals, going three points ahead of Newcastle – a name that might still have a lingering impact on any Spurs fans tonight!

So what do Spurs still have to play for? Well, they’re only actually six points behind United in fourth, and a win tonight would put them into fifth spot, although they will have played two more games than two more games than United and Newcastle and one more than Liverpool.

Anything can still happen in the Premier League – as many Arsenal supporters will likely be reminding people today – but if Spurs are to get into Europe’s elite club competition, they will likely need a win tonight to kick off a run of results!

It’s been pretty poor going for Spurs against tonight’s visitors, and Ryan Mason’s side are in fact without a win in four meetings with United.

Worse still, each of those games have ended in defeat, with United last enjoying a longer winning run against Spurs between September 2001 and September 2004 – a SEVEN game run.

And with a second interim manager in charge within a month, tonight could be a difficult night in front of the home crowd for Tottenham against a side that have had a fairly easy way of things in the tie.

What might give a few Spurs fans some pleasure is the knowledge that their arch-nemesis Arsenal have an even worse record against United’s bitter foes City with the Gunners losing eight on the trot in all competitions after last night.

The home side have already arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for what should be an absolute corker.
