Warner Bros. Pushes 'Godzilla vs. Kong' Release Date Back by a Week
Warner Bros. has just pushed back the release date for Godzilla vs. Kong by a week, moving it from March 26 to March 31 for both its theatrical and HBO Max launch.
According to a new report from Variety, the new delay for the epic crossover comes after upcoming titles from other companies in the industry have also been shifted. MGM has postponed James Bond’s next installment No Time to Die from April 2 to October 8, while Sony has moved its Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway from April 2 to some time in June. On top of the announcement, James Wan’s horror project Malignant has also been added back to the list of upcoming releases, now set to debut on September 10.
The news comes shortly after the Legendary Pictures film debuted its first full trailer, offering fans a closer look at what’s to come. Those interested can check out the trailer above.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Netflix has released the trailer for its Elisa Lam crime scene investigation series.
