For example, the cardinal signs are Aries (fire), Capricorn (earth), Libra (air) and Cancer (water).
Leo, Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio are the fixed signs and Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini and Pisces are mutable.

They’re very active, initiatory, opportunistic, driven and dynamic.
Cardinal signs hate to be restricted and prefer to be in control in the driving seat.
Cardinal signs like to do their own thing in their own way, which means they frequently find themselves frustrated.
They can often suffer from overdrive and burnout because they’re so competitive and anti-establishment.
Although this type of person is very busy, they’re not great at planning and this can result in head-on confrontations.
Calmness and poise need to be practised by cardinal signs.
