X Factor’s Scarlett Lee worries fans after rush to hospital with mystery illness
X-Factor finalist Scarlett Lee, who participated in the 2018 series of the show, left fans concerned after she posted a picture from the hospital.
The 24-year-old shared a snap of a drip in her body as she sat in a blue hospital chair, captioned with a sad face emoji and a timestamp.
The clock showed 3:11am and Scarlett stayed throughout the night as she shared a picture of hospital beds around 8am.
The singer did not clarify what was wrong and has not spoken out about her mystery illness since.
The star was part of the singing competition show back in 2018, but she originally auditioned a year prior.
She was unfortunately sent home in 2017, but when she tried her luck a year later, she made it to the show’s final round.
The white knuckle final was eventually won by fellow finalist Dalton Harris and Scarlett was sent home.
Her appearance on the show was not without its downfalls, however.
A fire tore through the singer’s house and she was awoken by her four-year-old nephew alerting her of the blaze.
Eventually, the star had a happy ending as she married her boyfriend Nathan Shaw the following year.
Scarlett the starlet didn’t cut any corners and wowed fans and guests with a huge pink wedding dress.
She married him in a large church in front of 400 people, 350 for the daytime and 50 for the evening.
Among her star-studded guest list were Love Island alumni Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde.
In 2021, Scarlett announced that she would be releasing a song dedicated to Ashley Cain’s daughter Azaylia.
The young baby, unfortunately, passed away aged 8 months old and the heartbroken father shared the news on his Instagram.
He wrote: “Rest in paradise, Princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven.”
Her mother Safiyya also wrote: “Rest in peace my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”
