Bankrupt Katie Price risks £1k fine just days after she gets back behind the wheel following two-year drink-drive ban | The Sun
BANKRUPT Katie Price risks another rap from authorities just days after getting back behind the wheel.
The Sun exclusively revealed how the former glamour model, 44, bought a £60K Hummer when her two-year driving ban ended.
The mum of five was then promptly slammed after being spotted driving her vehicle in her slider shoes.
Katie was spotted in the 15-ft long, 7ft wide American car, which has enormous tyres, near her “Mucky Mansion” home on Sunday afternoon.
Yet we can report how the license plate on the huge black motor – muzzed out in our shots of the car – is currently un-registered with the DVLA.
In advice on the DVLA website relating to new and used vehicles, the DVLA clearly states: "The dealer will usually register a brand new vehicle for you. If they do, you’ll get a vehicle log book (V5C) after four weeks.

"If the dealer will not do it, you can register the vehicle yourself."
It is also coming up as un-taxed following a DVLA check – which risks a hefty £1,000 fine.
A statement from the RAC also warns there could be further sanctions.
Its website reads: "The DVLA has the authority to clamp, impound or even destroy any vehicle that has not been taxed.

"So, it's important to make sure that your road tax is paid on time. When paper disks were still in use, there was a five day grace period – however, this is no longer in place."
Registration on the DVLA database should be as quick as 48 hours to show on the records, but can take seven days in some cases.
Meanwhile, Katie was only allowed back on the road on Friday and was all smiles as she was pictured stepping out of the giant car in green co-ordinated loungewear.
Questions were also being asked as to how the bankrupt celebrity could afford the £60,000 motor which has a personalised number plate.
Despite her appalling record, her two-year ban after crashing her car while over the drink-drive limit was reduced.
Katie was sentenced in December 2021 after flipping the vehicle, and was given a suspended 16-week jail term.
Judge Amanda Kelly said Price had “one of the worst driving records I have seen”.
But her lawyer negotiated due to her “mental health” at the time of her sentencing and argued PTSD and a suicide attempt was the reason she drove while under the influence.
She completed a drink-drive rehabilitation course to get back on the road early after her sixth ban last year.
