Bradley Walsh savagely brands The Chase contestant ‘boring’ in cheeky skit

Bradley Walsh and his fellow Chaser Shaun "The Dark Destroyer" Wallace came out with some savage banter in The Chase studio this week after poking fun at one particularly straight-laced contestant called Jonathan.

Appearing on the cash-building ITV quiz show to face the Chasers this week was student services representative Gemma, 41, bank manager Charlotte, 28, partner satisfaction specialist Barclay, 32, and consultant Jonathan.

Unfortunately for 62-year-old Jonathan, who is a higher education consultant from Hertfordshire, he quickly became the butt of host Bradley Walsh's typical on-air banter with his hopeful contestants.

Jonathan was first to step up to the podium to try his luck in the cash-builder round, and host Bradley started off by introducing him to the viewers at home by asking him about what he does in his spare time.

Jonathan, who was dressed for the occasion in a formal shirt, revealed he's a board games enthusiast who collects and plays board games in his spare time.

He made a successful start by banking £3,000 in his cash-builder and taking the money from Chaser Shaun, but Jonathan's celebrations were amusingly mild as he walked back to the panel.

After an awkward silence whilst Jonathan made his way back to his seat, Bradley then leapt at the opportunity to playfully tease the contestant's apparent lack of enthusiasm in a hilariously savage moment, saying: "
