Coleen Rooney takes son Klay to the beach in Britain after travel ban ruins Barbados holidays – The Sun

COLEEN Rooney is used to living it up in Barbados several times a year, but it looks like she enjoyed a trip to the good old British seaside over the weekend.

Coleen, 34, took to Instagram to share a snap of her and her son Klay somewhere on the coast in the UK amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

The mum-of-four is unable to take her usual glamorous trip due to the current travel ban, so she decided to make the most of the English sunshine instead.

Choosing not to tell her 885,000 followers where she and her family had been, Coleen simply captioned the post with a sun emoji.

The adorable snap sees the WAG wearing a coral coloured swimming costume with a pair of blue denim shorts and large dark sunglasses as she grins for the camera.

Coleen holds her arm around seven-year-old Klay, who can be seen laughing as he wears a purple and yellow LA Lakers jersey.

No doubt Coleen and Wayne's three other children, Kai, Kit, and Cass were in tow but it would have been a far cry from the luxury that they're used to.

Wayne and Coleen own a villa in the Caribbean, which they reportedly rent out for £25,000 a week.

The five-bedroom property is said to be worth £5 million and boasts an infinity pool, a media room and a shared golf course.

Inside, the walls feature pictures of Hollywood icons Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.

The paradise pad sits on the island’s exclusive Jasmine Ridge estate, with celebrity neighbours including Ant and Dec and Roo’s old Manchester United team-mate Rio Ferdinand.

Boxer Joe Calzaghe, and motorcycle racer Carl Fogarty are also said to own homes there.

Over the years, the swish Bajan resort has become so popular with Manchester's rich and famous that its residents have dubbed it the Northern Quarter.

The Rooneys bought the villa for £5million in 2010, but put it on the rental market as a holiday home four years ago, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Coleen's number of holidays per year have often been the topic of conversation, as she once went on more than ten holidays in the space of 12 months – according to reports.

However, in 2019 she allegedly vowed to take less holidays when Wayne made the decision to move back to the UK after living and working in America.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Everyone knows Coleen loves a holiday. But if being in America for the past year has taught her anything, it is that nothing replaces the comforts of being at home.

"That’s one of the reasons why she was so desperate for Wayne to return from the US and agree to his new role with Derby County."

They added: "Coleen realises Wayne is making a huge effort to live his life in the right way and is delighted about the changes they’re making.
"It is no coincidence that a lot of Wayne’s problems happen when Coleen isn’t about, so she plans to be around more."
