Coronation Street fans tell Tim to ‘put it away’ as he ditches pants under robe
Coronation Street viewers were horrified during Wednesday's visit to Weatherfield as Tim Metcalfe had no option but to go commando.
Sally Metcalfe was having a conversation with her former sister-in-law Debbie Webster when her husband interrupted to ask a vital question.
Coming down the stairs doing up his dressing gown, Tim asked: ""Are my favourite undies in the wash, love?"
"In the dryer. Where another pair," Sally told Tim but the cabbie wasn't having any of it and asked: "How long will they be?"
"Half an hour," his wife replied.
Tim said: "I'll hang loose until then."
Debbie joked: ""Never stand between a man and his favourite pants."
"Well they were they ones we got married in," Sally explained.
Viewers at home were left speechless at Tim racy remark in front of his wife and Debbie.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Could’ve done without hearing about Tim hanging loose."
Another added: "Too much info Tim."
A third said: "Oh Tim put it away."
While a fourth fan pointed out: "Wear another pair Tim."
A fifth added: "Come on Tim."
Corrie were stunned to discover that Debbie Webster is Ray Crosby's secret partner earlier this week.
Kevin Webster's sister returned to the cobbles in August with a mysterious business venture and is set to target Sally Metcafle's house.
Debbie was later seen meddling between Tim and his evil father Geoff, who are not on good terms.
She suggested that Sally threw a garden party to christen her new chiminea, and the festivities start well but it soon comes undone when they get an unwelcome visitor in the form of Geoff.
Bringing his boogie box over, Geoff intended on disrupting the day and, true to form, he does just that.
An angry Tim did not need much persuasion to voice his frustrations and following Debbie egging him on, he drenched Geoff with the ice bucket.
Debbie’s meddling didn't end there, however, and she soon heads over to see Geoff and lets him know that Sally has been badmouthing him.
Happy with her interference, she soon finds that it has worked better than she expected when Sally and Tim find a furious Geoff wielding a spade.
Corrie fans know that Ray is on a mission to destroy the cobbles by buying up the properties one by one, and has already got control of the Bistro, the garage buildings, David’s house and even Gary’s factory.
Will Debbie's plan to get Tim and Sally to move from Weatherfield work?
