EastEnders confirms no trial for abuser Katy Lewis as she pleads guilty
EastEnders has confirmed that child sex abuser Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) has pleaded guilty.
Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) met with his Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Tom – who confirmed the news – during tonight’s edition of the BBC One soap.
The landlord of the Queen Vic was over the moon, as he came to terms with the fact that there would be no trial.
However, there will be a hearing, and he will have the opportunity to prepare a victim impact statement.
Should he decide to write such a statement, this, of course, will mean that he will lose his anonymity.
Mick thought long and hard about his next move, but realising that he can do anything with his beloved Linda (Kellie Bright) by his side, he decided that he would – in fact – appear before Katy at the hearing.
Linda, as ever, supported her husband’s decision.
Mick was still reeling after discovering that his wife is pregnant with Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) baby, after she controversially cheated with the lothario last year.
The Queen Vic landlady is unsure of her next move, but she and Mick decided that – no matter what – they will face it together.
EastEnders continue Friday May 7 at 8:35pm on BBC One.
