A few instances of erratic behaviour from Jean have left fans worried that she might have binned her medication.
Viewers were horrified recently when Jean convinced herself that Daniel had returned from the dead – again – when she received a posthumous present from her late lover.
The present arrived in the form of a gigantic box, leaving Jean panicked that Daniel had faked his death again.
Later when Tommy played the piano – which had been in the box – Jean thought it was Daniel who was playing it for her and began to fret that he was back to haunt her.
Kush grew increasingly worried for Jean when she referred to Whitney as Stacey last week.
The cleaner had also reported Whitney's disappearance to the police – despite her return to the Square.
Kush then did some digging and decided that it seemed like she wasn’t taking her medication.
Kush has gone to great lengths to remedy the situation and get Jean taking her pills, assuming that's behind her ill health.
But could he be doing more harm than good?
Official spoilers have revealed that Kush and Shirley find Jean having a seizure in episodes set to air this week after assuming her behaviour is due to her not taking her medication – could it be something else?
Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Tina frantically ring an ambulance for Jean.
The upcoming scenes will see Suki step in to help but when the ambulance arrives, Suki realises not everything may be as it seems.
