Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle in deadly knife horror as voices push her over edge
Emmerdale's Belle Dingle goes on a knife rampage as new spoilers have revealed her mental health battle takes a dark turn.
Viewers have watched Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) continue to struggle with schizophrenia, a condition she was diagnosed with back in 2014.
Belle has been going through turmoil after Jamie got a fake witness to testify against her and frame her for the hit and run that he committed himself.
Next week, her mental health worsens as she continues to hallucinate and hear voices.
She continues to see images of "Jamie" and is haunted by the voice of her mother, Lisa, struggling to work out what's real and what is in her head.
As the preparations for Nate and Tracy's gender reveal party begin, Nate reveals to Belle that Tracy is having a wobble, but is quick to reassure her Tracy doesn't blame her for this.
Lisa's voice then warns Belle she has to protect her family.
Time passes and Lydia is confused to discover Belle seems to have disappeared, along with a cake knife.
Outside, a horrified Belle walks through the village with the knife in-hand, frantic and fearful someone is coming after her.
Back at the Woolpack, Cain realises Belle's not been taking her medication. In light of this, Nate and Tracy decide to come clean and admit they recently found her digging in a grave.
Cain is angry at Nate for keeping this secret, but the shock of this realisation is only compounded when Cain and Sam realise Belle has taken the knife.

Sam then proceeds to call the police as the others prepare to search for Belle.
Meanwhile in the woods, Belle hallucinates Jamie is chasing her. She gets the knife out to protect herself, at which point the voice of "Lisa" compels her to protect her family.
Will the character's mental health battle result in more devastation?
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
