The stand-alone ITV series features four brand new episodes, which came about due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
The 30-second clip begins with Sheridan's character, Melanie, speaking on a video call with her family whilst on lockdown.
"Let's see the bump, let's see the bump," her relatives shout in excitement, as Melanie replies: "So how many of you are there?"
As an older relative starts listing names, Mel replies tearfully: "You've got 11 people and you didn't even ask me."
She's later seen on the phone to a female who tells her: "I think you'll be a lovely mum," as she once again breaks down in tears.
Sheridan – who is expecting her first child with Jamie Horn in real life – spoke about her decision to star in the 15 minute episode.
"I am heavily pregnant and have been isolating at home so I jumped at the chance to make a drama about the massive drama going on all around us right now," the 38-year-old actress said.
"I think it's really important to try and reflect what's happening to us whilst it is still actually happening."
The four episodes were written by BAFTA-winning executive producer Jeff Pope, and tells the stories of four different families, inspired by true people, coping through the Covid-19 crisis.
Director Jeff previously said viewers will find Sheridan's episode very emotional as the actress reveals her baby bump on camera for the first time.
He said: "She had an enormous bump which makes an appearance at the end of the… She unveils this amazing… Then you see it – then she pulls it up, and it's a very emotional moment at the end."
Of Sheridan's decision to take on the role while heavily pregnant herself, he added: 'She's in very good health. She's not got pre-eclampsia or any of those conditions that would be dangerous."
Reflecting on the shoot, which took place in the home she shares with her insurance broker fiancé, Sheridan admitted it was down to her partner Jamie to set up the production equipment and handle the cameras while she filmed her scenes.
"They dropped off lots of camera, lighting and sound equipment at the gate, all disinfected. Jamie was then talked through how it all worked," she said.
"We had a crew of people on Zoom with us at all times during filming, explaining to Jamie where to place the cameras and lighting, he was amazing and isn’t in the industry so I was so proud of him.
"He was so good and turned out to be a natural cameraman. They were so impressed that they trusted him to do camera shots that are even tricky with a whole crew."
She added: "I couldn’t help much with lifting, currently being so pregnant myself, so I was in charge of costume, make up, continuity etc."
Hustle's Robert Glenister and his actor son Tom Glenister, best known for his role in Vera, appear in episode two which is about a father in the early stages of dementia and his son, who are isolating together due to the father’s illness with Covid-19.
Episode three, Mike and Rochelle, is about hypochondriac Mike who is played by Darren Boyd and his psychiatrist Rochelle, who is played by Waterloo Road's Angela Griffin.
Finally, episode four features Eddie Marsan, his sons Blue and Bodie, and Shameless's David Threlfall.
