Inside EastEnders actor Toby-Alexander Smith's off-screen life – from soap star girlfriend to incredible hidden talent

EASTENDERS' Toby-Alexander Smith has certainly made his mark on Walford since his arrival as Gray Atkins.

The handsome solicitor arrived in Albert Square in March 2019 to be with his wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) but Gray was soon revealed as a calculated and abusive husband.

Chantelle died at the hands of her husband in September 2020 and Gray has gone on to claim two more victims since.

But in stark comparison to the soap villain, Toby's real life is happier, calmer and full of love.

Toby, 31, confirmed his relationship with fellow soap star Amy Walsh in December 2020, and the couple welcomed their first child together in December last year.

Emmerdale star Amy, 34, took to Instagram to reveal their newborn daughter's name, telling her followers, they had decided to call her Bonnie Mae Smith.

When Toby isn't busy filming EastEnders or spending time with his daughter and partner Amy – who is the sister of Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh – he likes to keep active.

Toby's Instagram features pictures of him running the London Marathon as he raised money for Women's Aid.
