James Bond: No Time To Die SPOILER will see ‘new spy franchise from Phoebe Waller-Bridge’
WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD FOR NO TIME TO DIE. Last week, a major leak for the new James Bond found its way online. Allegedly, Daniel Craig’s 007 will have a daughter called Mathilde with his lover Madeleine Swann.
The spoiler was spotted on a principal photography call sheet for No Time To Die that ended up on eBay from the Italian shoot.
In the final scenes of No Time To Die, Léa Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann is escaping the lair of Rami Malek’s villain with Lashana Lynch’s Nomi.
However, they are accompanied by a child called Mathilde, played by child actress Lisa-Dorah Sonnet.
Now a 007 source is claiming that Mathilde will be the subject of a new spy franchise focused on Bond’s daughter.

An insider told The Mirror: “Bond bosses are very excited about 007 having a daughter and creating a new franchise around her.
“It is likely to feature Bond conflicted over having to train her up as an assassin combined with Waller-Bridge’s trademark black humour, shown in Killing Eve.
“She may just offer ideas and co-produce as roles are yet to be decided.
“But bosses are keen to give her a big part in the film’s production.”
The source added that making 007 a father opened “a whole avenue of powerful moments”.
Of course, if this true, this would imply that Craig continues as Bond beyond No Time To Die.
Even though the star has repeatedly said he’s done with the role after five movies.
Nevertheless, we are now in a world where shared universes stretch across both cinematic movies and streaming TV shows.

After all, this is the route Disney is taking with its Marvel and Star Wars properties.
What this would mean for a new actor rebooting the Bond films would certainly be interesting.
However, Warner Bros’ DC films and TV shows are currently managing to have different incarnations of characters like the Joker existing simultaneously.
Like Doctor Who, the Bond franchise has survived and remained fresh by evolution, so fans shouldn’t rule out such radical changes.
In the meantime, No Time To Die has been delayed from April 2 to November 12 in the UK due to the pandemic.
The synopsis reads: “Five years after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, James Bond has left active service.
“He is approached by Felix Leiter, his friend and a CIA officer, who enlists his help in the search for Valdo Obruchev, a missing scientist.
“When it becomes apparent that Obruchev was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before.”
